What is the ABCdaire?
The ABCdaire is a pediatric evaluation and follow-up framework created at CHU Sainte-Justine. Over the years, it has grown into a widely used clinical tool for monitoring the health and development of children from birth to age five.
Designed for physicians, registered nurses, and nurse practitioners, the ABCdaire offers a clear structure for routine pediatric visits. The program includes practical resources such as developmental checklists, age-specific monitoring guides, standardized growth references, and digital tools that support accurate and consistent assessments.
Its content is regularly reviewed and updated based on current scientific evidence, ensuring that care providers can rely on the most up-to-date pediatric knowledge.
